Micro-Site Pastor Manna Church Norfolk
Hi, I’m Nic, and welcome to Manna! I have the privilege of serving as the Micro-Site Pastor at our Norfolk location.
Jesus radically encountered me and changed my life while I was attending the University of Tennessee—go Vols! From that point forward, the direction of my life completely changed. I later moved to Lynchburg, Virginia, where I attended Liberty University and earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies and a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies.
While at Liberty, I met my wife, Briana, who was earning her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. We eventually made Norfolk our home and have spent the past 10 years serving our community and helping lead house church communities centered on sharing life, following Jesus, and loving our neighbors. Out of that community, Coalescence Coffee Co. was born as a way to create space for connection and meaningful community in Norfolk.
In the fall of 2025, we connected with Pastor Riley and Manna Church. We were immediately drawn to Manna’s mission and vision and especially impacted by the genuine hospitality we received. We quickly recognized that so much of Manna’s heart reflected what God had already been stirring in ours.
Today, we’re grateful to partner with Manna Church to establish a Manna community here in Norfolk. We’re excited about what God is doing in our city and would love for you to be part of it. Whether you have followed Jesus for years, are beginning to explore faith, or are simply looking for a place to belong, you are welcome here.

What you need to know
Visiting a new church can feel unfamiliar, so we want to make your first experience as simple and comfortable as possible. Here is everything you need to know before joining us at Manna Church Norfolk.
We gather every Sunday at 10:00 AM.
We recommend arriving a few minutes early so you have time to park, grab some coffee, meet a few people, and find a comfortable seat.
We have plenty of parking available right outside the building. When you arrive, feel free to park wherever you would like and head on in—we’ll be glad to see you!
We recommend arriving approximately 10–15 minutes early. That will give you time to get settled, grab a cup of coffee, meet a few people, and find a seat before the gathering begins.
Families attending MannaKids may also appreciate having a few additional minutes for check-in.
Our Sunday gatherings are centered around worshiping together and growing through God’s Word.
We begin with worship through song. On the Sundays when MannaKids is offered, children will then be released to their age-appropriate experience. The main gathering will continue with an encouraging, Bible-based message.
As a Manna Church micro-site, we are connected to the Newport News location and may sometimes join them through video for worship or the message. Whether the experience is live or on screen, our heart remains the same: to gather as a church family, worship Jesus, and grow together.
Come as you are!
You will see everything from jeans and flip-flops to dresses and fancy hats. There is no dress code—we simply want you to feel comfortable and at home.
We love kids at Manna!
Children are always welcome to remain with you during the service. Twice each month, we also offer MannaKids for elementary-aged children and younger. They will enjoy intentional time learning about Jesus through age-appropriate Bible lessons, activities, and fun.
As the ministry develops, upcoming MannaKids Sundays can be posted on the website and social media so parents always know what to expect.
When you arrive, just come on in!
Someone from our team will be ready to welcome you, help you find your way, answer your questions, and show you where to grab coffee or find a seat.
We know that visiting a new church can sometimes feel intimidating, so there is no pressure to have everything figured out. We are simply glad you are here and hope you feel at home.
