The Manna Dream Center (MDC) exists to empower dreamers to become difference-makers. Rooted in the heart of Newport News, our mission is to inspire individuals and organizations to live beyond themselves, activate their God-given dreams, and create lasting change in their communities.

We believe that every dream has the potential to become a vision that transforms neighborhoods, campuses, and cities.

How We Do It

Signature Initiatives

From neighborhood adoption and SERVE Days to college outreach, laundromat blitzes, and drink giveaways, we meet people where they are—with compassion and creativity.

Serve Saturday

On the first Saturday of every month, we show our city some love. Whether it’s through community clean-ups, blessing first responders with hot meals, or simple acts of kindness, MDC mobilizes individuals and families to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Strategic Investment Areas

Local Impact: We partner with organizations like Care Net Peninsula, Peninsula Rescue Mission, Thrive Peninsula, Cherished, FreeKind, and CIG to provide practical help and spiritual hope.
Military Support: Through our “Helping the Homefront” initiative with the 700 Club, we serve military families by stepping in with real help—from covering expenses to replacing appliances—ensuring those who serve are never alone.
National Reach: We collaborate with national partners like Multiply, ARC, SLN, Send Network, and Convoy of Hope to expand our reach beyond city limits.
Global Missions: Through ICM, RUN Ministries, MAPS Global, and Multiply Missions, we serve some of the world’s most unreached and underserved communities.
Next Generation: Investing in the future through MannaKids, MannaStudents, Manna University, Kardia Educational Services, Joy School, and leadership development through the Manna Residency.
