Chris Hallaren

Pastor Chris Hallaren grew up in the Boston area. While serving in the US Army at Ft. After finishing his obligation with the military, Chris spent the next 4 years studying and earned his BA in Biblical Theology from Manna Christian College. It was at that time that he met and married Sue Hales. From 1988-1995 Chris and Sue served in various church planting efforts in Japan. Then, from 1995-2000 they pioneered several campus ministries on the college campuses of Boston. Finally, Chris labored as the Pastor of Prayer and Evangelism at Manna Church in Fayetteville, NC from 2000-2007. Manna Church sent Chris and Susie to the Newport News area as Senior Pastor of Grace Church Newport News in 2007. God has blessed Chris and Sue with 8 children.
